Recovery Peptides GH Secretagogues Anti-aging Under research

CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin

Also known as: CJC-1295 DAC, CJC-1293, Ipamorelin

CJC-1295 is a long-acting synthetic analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), while Ipamorelin is a selective GH secretagogue pentapeptide and ghrelin receptor agonist (GHS-R1a). Their combined use produces synergistic and physiological stimulation of endogenous growth hormone secretion.

Mechanism of action

CJC-1295: GHRH analogue activating the pituitary GHRH receptor, stimulating pulsatile GH release. The DAC version (Drug Affinity Complex) covalently binds to serum albumin, extending half-life from 30 min to 8–10 days.

Ipamorelin: Pentapeptide activating GHS-R1a receptor. High selectivity: does not significantly elevate cortisol, prolactin or ACTH, unlike other GHRPs.

Uses & indications

  • Anti-aging: Restoration of physiological GH secretion (decreases with age)
  • Body composition: Visceral fat reduction, lean muscle mass increase
  • Recovery: Better sleep quality, post-training recovery
  • Collagen synthesis and joint health

Effects

Positive effects: Increased serum IGF-1, improved body composition, better deep sleep quality.

Adverse effects: Transient water retention, tingling in extremities, insulin resistance with prolonged use. CJC-1295 DAC may cause "GH bleed" (continuous non-pulsatile release, less physiological).

Considerations & contraindications

  • Not approved for human use (FDA/EMA)
  • Risk of insulin resistance with prolonged use
  • Contraindicated in active malignancies
  • Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Monitor serum IGF-1 periodically

Regulatory approval

Research peptides. Not approved for clinical use. ConjuChem developed CJC-1295 but clinical trials did not result in commercial approval.

Dosage

CJC-1295 without DAC: 100 μg/dose, before sleep. Ipamorelin: 200–300 μg/dose, 2–3×/day. Typical combination: CJC + Ipa 5×/week before sleep.

Storage

Lyophilized: −20°C. Reconstituted: 4°C, use within 30 days. Protect from light.
